Thank you for choosing Surf Ontario for your lesson. Our goal is to ensure you have a memorable, safe and exciting experience. Ultimately, we hope that you will take the fundamental skills you’ve learned, and practice to become a stoked, respectful boardrider whether its relates to surfing, SUPing or skateboarding*.

I, the client understand and am aware that surfboards, SUPs, skateboards, leashes, paddles, all equipment used in the sport and the natural surroundings are potentially hazardous objects.

I am also aware that surfing, paddling, skateboarding and swimming can be strenuous physical activities and I am in average to above average physical condition.

I, the participant, am also aware that the lake conditions can change quickly, the water may decrease in temperature rapidly, wave height may increase or decrease, visibility in the water may fluctuate and I respect the lakes power.

Life jackets for SUP lessons were offered and recommended by Surf Ontario.

I am also aware that learning Surfing, SUP and skateboarding fundamentals and fitness activities involve a risk of injury and that I am voluntarily participating with full knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the dangers involved.

Punctuality is paramount to get full value for the session. Please be changed and ready to begin at your scheduled appointment time. If you are late, your session will finish at the originally scheduled completion time.

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled sessions. Otherwise you will be charged in full.

* All boardsports are noted in this waiver as at times depending your lesson we allow all three boardsports to be tried.
